(RTTNews) - Intel Corp. (INTC) announced a series of new products at CES, including new chips for artificial intelligence and 5G wireless connectivity.

The company announced new versions of its 9th-generation chips for personal computers, with six new chips in that family adding to a first that was introduced last year. The company said mobile versions will be coming in the second quarter.

Intel said it was shipping its new Xeon server processor, dubbed Cascade Lake, and outlined a major push into AI inference technology with Nervana chips, with chips code-named Spring Lake that it expects will go into production this year.

Intel also announced it would make its first push into base stations for 5G, with products called Snow Ridge.
